MEDIA LITERACY       FIRST VIDEO: WHAT IS MEDIA LITERACY? IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THIS VIDEO IS  1) OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH MEDIA AND  2) THE MAIN CORPORATION IS TO MAKE MONEY    PEOPLE'S RELATIONSHIP WITH MEDIA IS SOMETIMES OVERWHELMING.  SOME             PEOPLE HAVE THEIR OPINION EVERYWHERE, LITERALLY. THEY CAN'T GO WITHOUT IT, WITHOUT HAVING A MELTDOWN.  IN OTHER CASES, THERE'S PEOPLE THAT AREN'T REALLY UP WITH THE SOCIAL MEDIA, THEY'RE JUST NOT INTO IT, OR MAYBE THEY DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT. WITH ME, MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MEDIA IS FAIR. I DON'T USE A LOT OF IT BUT I DO HAVE AN IDEA ABOUT IT ALL. THE MAIN SOURCE OF MEDIA I USE IS FACEBOOK. Final Assignment: Media Awareness Video

Examples of Awareness videos I think are effective: Bullying Awareness Video https://youtu.be/itUQIUMX9wg The effectiveness of this video is strong. It is about a girl who is bullied, she becomes depressed in time. At the end, it shows her about to kill herself. The actions used worked well. It catches the viewers eyes. Adding in the worm's eye view camera shot of the little girl, and the voice over during the video worked well. When it shows the rope, you get the vibe of what she's going to do, and having the voice over rather than her talking in the video is a good effect.
